Notes
The perfect combination of moist, flavorful bread with a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon, topped with a sweet glaze. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a truly delightful treat.
ingredients:
- 3 Cups of Self-rising flour
- 1 TSP ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 cups of Sugar
- 1 cup of Vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2/3 cup of water
- 2 cups grated zucchini
- 1 cup of toasted walnuts, chopped
Glaze:
1 cup of powered sugar
2 tbsp of milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix dry ingredients except the nuts in a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet and add the nuts.
- Bake in 2 (greased) loaf pans for 1 hour.
- Mix the ingredents for the glze and pour over the loaf.
- Allow the bread to cool before serving.
