The perfect combination of moist, flavorful bread with a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon, topped with a sweet glaze. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a truly delightful treat.

ingredients:
  • 3 Cups of Self-rising flour
  • 1 TSP ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 3 cups of Sugar
  • 1 cup of Vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup of water
  • 2 cups grated zucchini
  • 1 cup of toasted walnuts, chopped

Glaze:

1 cup of powered sugar

2 tbsp of milk

 

Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix dry ingredients except the nuts in a large mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet and add the nuts.
  • Bake in 2 (greased) loaf pans for 1 hour.
  • Mix the ingredents for the glze and pour over the loaf.
  • Allow the bread to cool before serving.
